Tok
Pisin is one of the three national languages of Papua New Guinea. It is widely
used and understood in the country and becomes one of the common tool used both
in trading and communication. It is a form of Melanesian Pidgin English that
was developed in the early 1800's as a result of increased travel and economic
activity between the Melanesians and Europeans, and is still used today. Papua
New Guinea is known to have over 800 different languages and Tok Pisin becomes
the binding communication medium linking the diverse Papua New Guinea Culture
